Here at Takutai Adventures we are passionate about getting youth into the outdoors and teaching them about the history of the Ohiwa Harbour and its ecosystems.

Our Instructor to Student ratio is legally 1:8 but we follow school regulation and make sure the ratio is 1 adult to 4 students in the water, whether that be qualified instructors or parent/teacher help. if the school requires lower ratios in the water then adult help must be provided or further instructors can be brought in at cost


  • ULTIMATE ADVENTURE DAY

    • This is full day that will be lead by us where Groups rotate through 5 different activities:

    • Stand Up Paddleboarding, E-Scootering, Fishing, Beach Activities and Giant Board Activities.

    • We provide 3 Staff Members for the day, these staff go with the Water Activities and Scooters. Extra adults are given guidance of how to lead the fishing and Beach Activities.

    • This day is designed for larger groups (30+ students up to 100 maximum)

    •  Ultimate adventure Day Option: $ 1200 +GST
